ABOUT THE AREA

Belize is the second smallest country in Central America.  It is one of the only seven countries in central America and shares borders with Mexico, Yucatan, Guatemala, and the Caribbean Sea.

The climate in Belize differs from season to season.  June to October is wet season.  During wet season it rains almost every day.  Dry season is from February to April.  The average temperature year round is between 60'F and 90"F on the coast and slightly higher inland.  Hurricane season is a very large threat during the months of September and November.

THINGS TO DO
The city of Belize is such a beautiful city with so many things to do.  There are clean, warm waters, Mayan ruins, and lots of wildlife.
The most popular activities that are in Belize City are snorkeling, boating, touring, and hiking.  If you wanted to be in the water you could go snorkeling or scuba diving among the coral reefs and beautiful fish.  It is always an exciting expedition
Also on the water you could enjoy a bottomless boat ride.  You will still enjoy the coral reefs with the lovely fish without getting wet.
As well as the incredible coastline, Belize also has a lot of jungle animals and tours of the local villages.    One of the many tours will take you to the Mayan ruins of the temples of the many gods that the Mayan culture worshiped.

Other tours will take you to see the amazing wildlife.  You will see animals from birds and bugs to wildcats and monkeys.

The jungle is very different from the water, but all of the tours and scenery from any part of the country is something you could never see again.
