Joseph Anthony Fatone, Jr. was born on January 28, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York.  Ever since he was a young boy, Joey has looked up to none other than Superman.  One of Joey's first jobs was working at Orlando Studios for many of the plays or dressing up as characters.  He got to sing, act, and dance for this job.  It's not a great job, but everyone has to start some where.

JC Chasez had met Joey a few years back in Orlando.  They were bot auditioning for a part in one of the Orlando Studio shows.  JC knew that Joey was a good actor, singer, and dancer.  Joey was a man of many talents.  He was another perfect peice to the boy band puzzle.

Since Joey was such a multi-talented guy, he was not gongi to sit around and wait for the break to be over.  Joey Fatone decided to put off his singing and tried some acting.  He was in two movies, "On the Line" and "My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding".  He co-starred with fellow NSYNCer Lance Bass for that movie.  Joey also tried some broadway.  None of thses made Joey very big, maybe NSYNC was what Joey needed for fame.
