Joshua Scott Chasez, but you know him as JC, was born on August 8, 1976 in Washington D.C.  He then moved to Maryland a year after that.  Growing up, JC never expected to be a singer.  He wanted to be an engineer, architect, or a carpenter.  Just like his other NSYNCer Justin, JC was also chosen for Disney's Mickey Mouse Club.

After Justin got a call from Chris, he instantly called JC.  He had known JC from the MMC and knew that he was just the kind of guy that a boy band could use.  He had an awesome voice and was able to write his own songs.

During NSYNC's break, JC also decided to do a solo project.  His first single, "Blowin' Me Up With Her Love", was on the soundtrack for the 2003 movie Drumline.  All his new material was very different from what his fans wre used to.  His new CD, Skitsophrantic, was an instant hit due to his creative song wrting.
