Jamie Lee Curtis who plays Dr. Tess Coleman plays the role of a mother to Lindsay Lohan or Anna. Anna thinks that her mothers life is perfect and the opposite. Anna is in a band and it is her main priority in her life right now. Her mom is a very busy woman and is engaged. When Anna has to skip a band gig to go out to dinner with her family she gets mad at her mom and they fight. They go to the bathroom and yell at each other. Then a waitress asks them if the want a fortune cookie and they take one. The cookie ends up switching their lives. The mother changes into the daughter and the daughter is the mother. So Tess is in a band and Anna is engaged. Anna has to go to work for her mom and Tess has to go to school. |
