Like dogs or horses cats can be purebred or "mutts'. There are two different distinctions between cats. They can be longhaired or shorthaired cats. Some long hair cats are the Parisian or the Ragdoll. Some shorthaired cats are the Manx and the British Blue Shorthaired. | |
| This is a Chinchilla Persian. It is a white longhaired cat and has emerald green or blue gray eyes. Chinchilla Persian are normally affectionate and calm but, sometimes they can have bad tempers. This cat is a crossbreed of the Silver Tabby. | ![]() |

This
is another longhaired cat called a Birman. It's named after where we think
it originated the temple of Burma. This is a very civilized cat they love
o be with animals. The story is that a pure white cat was being attacked
at a temple at a temple and it jumped onto the priest’s head, the tips
of its paws turned the color of Burmese soil. Where the cat touched the
priest the cat stayed white which is the color of goodness.

| The other type of cat is the shorthaired cat. This is a British Blue-Cream. They are very affectionate and are relatives of the British-Blue Shorthaired. The British Blue-Cream Shorthaired has discreet patches on its throat area and other parts of its body. | ![]() |

This cat is called a Sphynx. It has absolutely no hair at all. It is very wrinkly, but against popular belief, it is very affectionate. The Sphynx has very large ears and has the nickname "Mexican Hairless". It is believed to be bread by the Aztecs. | |
