| Barry Sanders played for the Detroit Lions from 1989-1999. He was an explosive running back and the first running back ever to rush for over 1,000 yards in each of his first 10 seasons. In Barry's career with the Lions he rushed for 15,269 yards, and for 99 touchdowns. Barry Retired only third in the all-time rushing list. Barry brought such an electrifying style to football that had never been seen. Barry possessed the ability to change directions very fast without slowing down. This strength made him a feared runner to all of football. | ||
| Carl Eller was a monster on the Vikings "Purple People Eater" defense. He played for 16 years as a Viking and Eller was named to six Pro-Bowls. Eller played 225 games for the the Vikings, and was a big reason as to why the Vikings defense was so dominant. Eller earned first- or second-team honors every year from 1967 to 1973. | ||
| John Elway was selected first in the 1983 draft. The Bronco's had the privilege to have Elway on their team for 15 years. Elway is only one of two players to pass for more than 50,000 yards in a career. At the end of his career Elway lead his team to two Super Bowl wins, and was named MVP in Super Bowl XXXIII. Elway was know for his fourth quarter comebacks. He ended his career with two Super Bowls under his belt, and placed his name among the leagues best. | ||
