Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics of today may not be the greatest but back in the day they were feared by all. Winning 16 NBA titles in their time of greatness. Having several wins in the 1970's they crushed the opposing team by an average of 20 points per game. Also the tremendous Larry Bird averaged 25.8 points per game during this period. They also had several other Hall of Fame players such as Robert Parish, Bill Walton, Dave Cowens, and Bill Russel. At one point in time their players were so good that they had four players on the All-Star team. Although all of this greatness mentioned wasn't their all the time as when Bill Russell retired in 1971 they had two horrible seasons ending up being the worst team in the league. But when they acquired Larry Bird and John Havilcek they came back to excellence as they won the title back in 1973-1974 season.
