Tim Meadows

Tim was originally from Michigan.  Tim was known as a true ensemble player and always made his partner look good. He would eventually leave Second City and go with Chris Farley to SNL. 

 

Chris Farley

While Chris was on Second City, he was bouncing off walls, and into the audience just to get some laughs. The public always thought that Chris was a wild man 24-7, but actually, he was very polite and calm off-screen. Chris starred in movies like Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, and Beverly Hills Ninja. He appeared in Wayne's World, Airheads, The Coneheads, Billy Madison, Dirty Work, and Almost Famous. Chris died of a cocaine induced heart attack in 1997.

Rachel Dratch

" Rachel is a squeaky little clown." She could be recognized even when she wore a mask because of her small stature and tiny but loud voice. She won two Jeff Awards while she was at Second City. After that, she joined Saturday Night Live in 1999. 

Amy Sedaris

Amy joined in 1992. After she went to create the Comedy Central show Exit 57. The show received 5 Cable  ACE nominations  during its two year run. Then  the same group formed to create Strangers With Candy. (also with Comedy Central. 

Horatio Sanz

Horatio joined in 1996, though he never made it to main stage. He joined the SNL cast in 1998. One of Horatio's skits was Tony Royce, the used car dealership.
