Mest

Mest started in 1994 with its four original band members, Matt Lovato, Steve Lovato, Tony Lovato, and Nick Gigler.  However, in 1997, Steve quit the band due to musical differences.  After Steve quit, the band went on playing as a three-piece for a while, but they felt that something was missing.  They decided to look for a new rhythm guitarist.  They then gave the position to a close friend, Jeramiah Rangel.

Shortly after giving the position to Jeramiah, Mest released their first album, Mo' money Mo' 40'z, in early 1998.  In 1999, John Feldmann from Goldfinger called Mest to open up for a gold finger show in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  Soon after, Mest got a record deal with Maverick records .  Their second album, Wasting Time, was released in 2000.  It was their first album with a record label.
They toured nonstop throughout 2000, opening up for Goldfinger, The Urge, Blink 182, and wuite a few other bands.  2001 brought even more opportunities for Mest.  They once again toured nonstop, gaining fans in every city.  Mest's second album with Maverick records (Destination Unknown) was released November 13, 2001.

Their third most recent album, Mest, was released on June 10th, 2003.  Constant touring, and constantly putting fully kick booty shows won the band a spot on the main stage during Warped tour '03
