Phantoms in the Park began in 1991. Phantoms was made where the old South Park swimming pool used to be. If you've ever talked to someone that has worked at Phantoms, they may have brought up the old myth about Phantoms. The myth is that two kids drowned in the South Park pool and now they haunt the house. Some workers say they can hear the kids swimming and playing around the pump house. Anyway, Phantoms begins on September 24th and ends October 31st. In September, the house is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights only. In October, the house is open every night except Mondays and Tuesdays. On October 1st, Phantoms begins Phantoms Phest. Phantoms Phest is a carnival behind the building. If you buy a ticket to the house and walk through, then the rides at the carnival are free.

All of Phantoms proceeds benefit Make a Wish. They have made over 1.5 million dollars.
