The West Highland White Terrier is a hunter of badgers, otters, rabbits, and rats. Their littler bodies can squirm into places humans can't. A West highland white terrier puppy is curious and perky. These dogs are confident and friendly, they often seek attention of humans.
The general appearance of these dogs is a small, game, well-balanced, hardy-looking terrier, strongly built and muscular legs. When selecting one of these dogs be aware of certain "points." A fine example of the breed has a black nose, dark eye rims, dark lips and well defined ear rims.
These dogs will love to get outside and love the fresh air. So take them on lots of walks if you decide to adopt this terrier. When selecting a West Highland White Terrier, find a puppy who is happy and self-reliant, but not too agressive.
People love these dogs for their friendly and complacent personality. But these dogs like to be independent, they like the company of others too. When you have a Westie, you need to walk them a couple times a day and feed him the right amount of food.
Once your dog has become comfortable in their new home you might have to compete for your favorite chair. West Highland White terriers might be small but they have a big personality and anxious to get to know their new families.
