| Beavers love to eat bark. They also find Spring leaves on trees very appetizing. Some trees they'll eat are cottonwood, willow oak, aspen, beach, alder, hickory and birch. They also eat water plants and small shrubs that they would find on land. Beavers eat about two pounds of food a day. |
