The first  thing you should know is paintball dose hurt to get hit. After you get hit allot it dose not hurt. but it takes time to get use to it. You will probable get  a welt after getting hit. It will be their for about a week. Do not get bundled up to go play paintball because if you a afraid to get hit he Wight  will slow you down and you will most likely to get hit. Do not be afraid to get hit it is only paint. Paintball can be fun to play if you play safe ware all the right equipment.
	You should play a few games before you chose to buy a paintball marker. In case you don't like the sport, you won't be stuck with a marker you don't want any more. Paintball can get very fun, their are lots of games you can play during paintball. Like capture the flag, predator, resurrection, and president. Paintball can get very intense so be ready at all times to shoot or return fire.
	It is a good idea to ware gloves. It hurts a lot to get shot in the hand. It hurts more than any ware. you do not need an expensive glove, a bike glove is good too. As long as you have something to protect your hand.
	You mite want to ware conferrable shoes. Shoes with good traction. They should support you ankles. skate board shoes are ok but not good, the splatered paint makes the ground slippery.
	You must always ware a mask. Never take your mask off when you a playing paintball. Do not take it off till the ref says you can. You do not need to buy an expensive mask. You can rent one at a arena if you need one.
