This hand motion is called blades.  To do this position your hands are out straight with your fingers pressed together.  Your arms must be straight not bent. Your legs are separated at about shoulder width.

This next hand motion is called daggers. Your hands are in fists with your thumbs outside and pinky side towards the crowd, your fingers are facing the crowd.  Your legs are about shoulder width apart.
This hand motion is called buckets. Your fists are the same as daggers, only one arm is out straight to the side and the second arm is broken in to the side.

This hands on hips. Cheerleaders usually use this "motion" before they start a cheer, dance, or just to look neat. Your hands are bent on your hips with your hands in fists, and your legs are shoulder width apart.
This is the high V position.  Your arms are in a straight V position above your head.  Your hands are in the dagger position.  Your legs are also shoulder width apart.

This is called the touchdown position.  Your arms are close together, by your ears (not touching).  Your hands are also in fists.  Your legs are about shoulder width apart.
This is a punch-up. One arm is straight up in the air like the touchdown motion.  Your other hand is in a fist on your hip.  Your legs are about shoulder width apart.

This is a diagonal.  Your one arm looks like its in a high V, and the other looks like a low V. Your legs are separated shoulder width apart.
This is a T motion.  The arms are straight out at shoulder height.  You should look like a T from your neck down. Your legs are about shoulder width apart.

This is an L motion.  One arm looks like its in a touchdown position and the other is in a half T motion.  Your legs are about shoulder width apart.
