Lord of The Rings, which was written in the 1950s by J.R.R Tolkien, is a great book, and pretty good movie too. Though the movies would have been better if they were more accurate to the world in the books, not what sounds the best for the movie to have more action. . In this web page I talk about the things that were in the books, and some of the events that were in the movies. The things I will talk about are the Characters, The Lands of Middle earth, and The History of Middle-earth.  The characters, is basically self explanatory, it is the main characters in The Lord of The Rings. The History of Middle-earth is also self explanatory, it is what happened in the ages before the books, and movies took place. The Lands of Middle-earth is what the books told about the lands that the movies did not. Basically this is just the major things that were cut out of the movies, unlike the characters in the extended versions of the movies.
