Earl Campbell
| Earl Campbell what a player this guy has more accomplishments in a decade then some will have in their whole lives. He is one of the most notable running backs to ever play college football. Graduating from Texas in 1977 he was the first over all draft pick in the 1978-1979 season by the Houston Oilers. Along with winning the heisman he also won rookie of the year, and M.V.P in his first year, also he had six pro bowl appearance's by the end of his career he had a total of 10,213 all purpose yards.(9,407 rushing, and 806 receiving.) He had a total of 74 total touchdowns. He ranks tenth on the all time rushing list. He also was an all American. People say that he ran more like a line backer rather than a typical running back. Number 20 will always go down in the books as the most powerful running back ever. | |
