Keith Moon

Drummer
Keith John Moon was born in North West London on August 23, 1946. Keith was raised by his father Alfred, who was a merchant, and his mother Kathleen, who was a cleaner. He also had two sisters Linda and Leslie.
As a kid, he was hyperactive and had a tireless imagination. Keith, was what you might call, "the class clown." He always kept his classmates laughing and his teacher distraught.
At age sixteen, Keith received his first drum-kit. It cost twenty-five pounds (roughly fifty dollars). This pearl blue Premier kit was "beautiful for a sixteen year old," said Keith. He received a little professional lessons, but more or less taught himself.. He was said to have the "knack," for drumming.
After trying out many bands, Keith wasn't satisfied. In late April, 1963, Keith auditioned for Roger Daltrey's band, "The Detours," which would eventually become, "The Who," after a record label was intact. "The Detours," who's past drummer quit, took Keith. Finally, all the band members of "The Who," were together with the acquisition of Keith.
Throughout Keith's life, he was known to be very wild and unpredictable. Unpredictable was exactly what happened next, Just as Keith tried to curb his erratic behavior he died on September 7, 1078.
The night of his death, he and his wife attended a party hosted my Sir Paul McCartney. When the couple decided to reside back at the hotel, Keith took some hemineverin sedatives  to aid in his drinking problems. He later awoke at about 7:30 the next morning, ate breakfast, and took some more sedatives, and then fell back asleep. Keith's girlfriend found him dead the later that afternoon. In all he ingested 32 hemineverin tablets.
