| The New York
Yankees will win the World Series this year. They have the best team money
can buy with Alex Rodriguez, Gary Sheffield, Kenny Lofton, and Jason
Giambi. The seniors Derek Jeter, Hideki Matsui, and Jorge Posada will play
well. As of right now Enrique Wilson is the starting second basement but
i'm sure that will change. |

|
 |
The Boston Red Sox
will be the AL wild card because they will not win the AL East. They have
made many improvements but will fall short to the Yankee dynasty. |
|
|
| The Minnesota
Twins have a few big stars but fewer week links. Torii Hunter came on
strong after an early slump last season, while Jacque Jones, Shannon
Stewart, Doug Mientkiewicz, Corey Koskie and Matt LeCroy are tough outs
who add depth to the lineup. |

|
 |
The Chicago White
Sox have power at the plate with Frank Thomas, Magglio Ordoņez, Carlos
Lee, and Paul Knerko. Their defense is solid, Konerko only had 2 errors,
Ordoņez is strong and Joe Crede at third is sensational. The White Sox
have a good club but not good enough to top the Twins. |
|
|
| In the AL West the
Oakland Athletics offense will suffer without their star shortstop Miguel
Tejada. Although the A's still have powerhouse Eric Chavez at third,
Erubial Durazo, Bobby Kielty, and Mark Kotsay. There pitching is still
phenomenal with Barry Zito, Tim Hudson, Mark Mulder, and the new addition
of Arthur Rhodes will try to replace the whole in the bullpen made by the
loss of Keith Foulke to the Red Sox. |

 |
Winning the NL
East will be the Philadelphia Phillies. The offense is dangerours with Jim
THome, Bobby Abreu, Pat Burrell, and Jimmy Rollins. They have on of the
deepest roatations in the league with pitchers Randy Wolf, Kevin Milwood,
Brett Myers, Eric Milton, and closer Billy Wagner. |
|
|
| The Houston Astros
will win the NL Central, with powerhouses Jeff Bagwell, Lance Berkman,
Craig Biggio, Richard Hidalgo, and Morgan Ensburg. Their pitching is
strong with Roger Celemens, Andy Pettitte, Roy Oswalt, Wade Miller,
Octavio Dotel, and young reliever Brad Lidge. |
 |
|
|
 |
The San Fransisco
Giants will win the NL West because they have Barry Bonds, Marquis
Grissom, Ray Durham, Edgardo Alfonzo, and A.J. Pierzynski. J.T. Snow and
Neffi Perez are a good combination up the middle. Star Jason Williams is
good but after that there isn't much other than closer Robb Nen. The
Giants won't win 100 games, but will win the weak West. |
|
|
| The Arizona
DiamondBacks will finish 3rd this year. They have a powerful offense with
Richie Sexson, Luis Gonzalez, Shea Hillenbrand, Steve Finley and Roberto
Alomar. Their defense suffers, but they still have Roberto Alomar who is
still a strong second basemen. |
