Shown in the picture above is a small house high in the Blue Mountains - some of Jamaica's most beautiful countryside. The mountains are nearly always wrapped in clouds, though on a clear day hikers and other people can explore the eastern half of the island.

To the left is a picture of a skilled pole fisherman on the broad Rio Grande river near Port Antonio. At one time, the rafts were used to bring bananas and other produce from the mountains to the sea. Nowadays, visitors enjoy the cool ride while admiring the natural beauty of the rainforests. |
