The picture above is of Cammi and I at her hockey camp in Chicago. She signed the picture when the team came to Pittsburgh on their tour to Salt Lake City, Utah for the Olympics. Cammi played guys hockey to start with until her junior year in high school. She played at Providence College on a hockey scholarship, and she started playing with the national team in 1990 and she is continuing to play with them to present day. |

Cammi carried the USA flag at closing ceremonies in Nagano, Japan. She had the honor to do so because the team won the gold medal. |

Cammi Granato's achievements and history of her hockey career are very miraculous. She averaged 0.816 points per game at the International level. Cammi is the only player on the team to represent the USA from 1990 in women's hockey. She is the USA captain and has a gold and silver medal to show for it. Some other achievements include graduating for Providence College with a degree in social science, playing 150 games for the USA team, and she is currently playing in the NWHL in Canada for the Vancouver Griffins. |
