Getting Started

If you are just starting paintball you should know the basics.  When purchasing the paintball marker, to save money look around on the net and I recommended buying your marker in a kit.  If you buy just a gun you will have to buy CO2 and goggles separate.
When you buy your marker, know that it is illegal to play in backyards and woods.  Arenas are the only real legal place to play.  When playing in an arena staff will safe-proof the place so no paint will go stray.  Shooting houses is also illegal even if the paint will just wash away.
Don't forget that paintballs are flying through the air at 250 feet per second or about 180 mph.  They hurt pretty bad to get hit with one.  You might want to reconsider playing if a bee sting is too much to handle.  Also, In arenas, performance is a lot better if you are not afraid of the ball.
