Mario Party 5

In my opinion, one of the best multiplayer games of 2003. You go around theme styled board games as ten different characters , Mario style. There is also a single player, story mode, super duel mode, and a mode just for mini games.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

At first, this game looks kind of lame being cartoon looking. But this game is really fun to play. You play as Link's ancestor, trying to rid the world of evil.

Metroid Prime

An incredibly realistic first person shooter, it is one of my favorite games that came out when GameCube came out. You control Samus Aron through a new adventure of trying to get Meta Ridly.

Star Wars Bounty Hunter

If you want to know what happened to Jango Fett before Episode 2, this is a game for you. You control Jango, of course, as he travels across the galaxy completing missions, collecting cards, and collecting bounties.

Pikmin

Cute little creatures, killing monsters, and making more pikmin; that's what you do most of the time. You control caption Olimar trying to fix your ship.  I'm really looking forward to the sequel. 

Super Mario Sunshine

Beautiful island and lots of sun, but no vacation. You control Mario cleaning up the island and collecting Shine Sprites. A great game, a must have.

Animal Crossing 

Like starting from scratch, making new friends, and paying off loans to a raccoon, this game is for you. You choose a boy or girl, name it, and name a town just for starters. A very good game, but you must have free time to get anything done.

Super Smash Bros. Melee

Pick your favorite Nintendo character, pick an arena, and fight to survive. Play as over 20 characters, 30 arenas, 12 special modes, and story mode.
