| If you look on the back of the box of a game, it will give
you a rating. These ratings tell the content of a game and the suggested
age that you should be to play the game. The different ratings
are: EC-Early Childhood-these games
are for very young children and are usually boring to anyone over the age
of 5. An example of one of these would be Elmo's Alphabet Adventure.
E-Everyone-These games are recommended for kids 6 years of age and
older. Some examples of these games would be the Mario party series.
Sometimes this can be seen as KA.
T-Teen-These games are recommended for people 13 or older. Some
examples of these are Warcraft III the Frozen Throne and Time Splitters.
M-Mature-These games are recommended for people 17 years of age or
older. These usually have strong language, strong violence, and blood.
Some examples of these games are Socom: U.S. Navy Seals, and Diablo.
A-Adults-These games are not sold in stores. These games have very bad
visual content including nudity, blood, gore, and much more.
