THE TYPES OF BOARDS
There are many different brands of boards. They come in many sizes also.
They mostly have 7 layers of maple wood, some have 5 but theses types break very easily. But if you travel out of the country you can find 12 layers or 12 ply wood. 12 ply skateboards are heavy and you cant do as many tricks with them. But the 5 ply are light but aren't very durable. 5ply boards are more for the lighter people. The 7 ply is just right, not to heavy and pretty durable. They also make a type of board with fiberglass sheets on the inside. These boards are made by element. Element also makes normal wooden boards. Most of the pro skaters today are sponsored by element or enjoi.
