Johnny Damon is the centerfielder and leadoff batter for the Boston Red Sox. He was born on November 5, 1973 in Fort Riley, Kansas. He bats left and throws left and is very fast on the bases. He wore the number 51 his first year, then 18 the next five years, then 8 the next year, then 18 his most recent two years. He was drafted right out of High School to the minor leagues. He has played for three teams: the Kansas City Royals, the Oakland Athletics, and the Boston Red Sox.
Todd Helton is the first baseman for the Colorado Rockies. He was born on Monday, August 20, 1973 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He bats left and throws left and is a great all around ball player. He wears the number 17 and has played for only one team, the Rockies. His first game was played on August 2, 1997. He played for Tennessee in college and then got drafted to play in the minor leagues.
Brian Giles is the starting left fielder for the San Diego Padres. He was born on January 20, 1971 in El Cajon, California. He bats left and throws left and is a great hitter. He wears the number 24 and has played for three teams: the Cleveland Indians, the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the San Diego Padres who he is currently playing for now. He has had no college experience and got drafted right to the Cleveland Indians in 1995.

Barry Zito is one of the starting pitchers for the Oakland Athletics. He was born on May 13, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He bats left and throws left and has an amazing curve. He wears the number 75 and has played for only one team, the Athletics. He went to college and played for USC and then got drafted by the Athletics in the year 2000. He has played for four years for the Athletics and is currently playing for them.
