This here is a 1962 Corvette which sported a 327. It could run faster than most thanks to its 365-horsepower fuel-injected engine. It had a 1,000lb weight advantage. It also has axle ratios up to 4:56:1 from the factory.
Here is a '56 Chevy Corvette listed for $3,120 and Chevy built only 3,467 of them. Base curd weight was 2,980 lbs. The hood vents looked sporty, but were not functional. The 225-hp dual-quad setup costs $172 and furnished 0-60mph in 7.3 sec.

This Corvette had a 265 cu. in. OHV V-8 engine. It was a 4 speed manual, 2-speed Power glide automatic. Also it had 2 Four-barrel carburetors. Its top speed was 129 mph (207 kph) and it could do 0- 60 mph in 7.3 sec.

In 1972 corvette was the last year for the chrome bumpers on both the front and rear. The 1973 corvette only had a rear chrome bumper. Of 20,000 1972 corvettes produced, only 6,500 convertible models vettes were ordered.

No teeth on the grille and four round rear lights are some of the changes introduced into the 1961 corvettes. 

Some people think that the 1960 Corvettes were over-decorated. But it was easy to see why. Thanks to the dual lights and triple grilles.
