Sauron has been gathering his forces.  Even though he has failed to find the Ruling Ring.  Which he forged himself. Then  Isildur, the High King of Gondor received the ring.  Then  Gondor lost the ruling ring and it was seemingly forever lost.

"Creation is the greatest power"

Saruman has created many unfriendly creatures such as orcs.
   
"Orcs"
The orcs are not a natural part of Middle-earth for they were originally created by the Dark Powers.  Long ago, in the First Age elves were taken captive. Tortured in the dungeons of the Dark Lord Sauron.  Until they had been transformed from the most beautiful and nobel of Middle-earth.  And turned into a terrible new form of life: orcs.

These creatures multiplied until the Dark Lord had grown himself a monstrous army to kill the free people of the world.  Filled with his dark will, the orcs were vicious and evil creatures.  Raised in darkness, orcs hate the light, and when Saurman commands a job.  They will use their energy and their strong weapons to get the job done.
   

"The Uruk-Hai"
Orcs are the least of anyone's worries.  The Uruk-Hai are Super Orcs.  The Uruk-Hai: taller, and stronger then men and they are massively muscled.

The Uruk-Hai are tireless and considered intelligent and more powerful than the orcs.  They are fearsome and have straight -bladed weapons and long-range bows.
The Uruk-Hai is lead by Lurtz.  He is easily noticed by the white hand print on his face.

The nine servants of Sauron

The Nazgul were once great kings of men.  Until Sauron gave nine Rings of Power and with them the promise of eternal life.  All the kings of men took the rings but, the greed blinded them from the Dark Lord's evil.
One by the men fell under the power of the Dark Lord's evil.  Until at last The Nazgul became known as the Ring Wraiths.  The Ring Wraiths are faceless because  they have been worn away by the power of the ring.  The Nazgul wear black robes and armor.

Their weapons are not merely swords of steel, nor are their daggers which carries a deadly poison.  No weapon can harm them except for those made by the elves.  And any blade that strikes them will brake.  The Ring Wraiths will stop at nothing to retrieve the One Ring.
