STUNTS

Stunts are something all audiences look forward to seeing. They are unique and creative and add excitement to a routine. Stunts can also be very dangerous to every position. There are all different types of stunts.

 

Positions-Flyer- Head is forward and stationary.Focus on something at eye level to keep you balanced.

                Back Base-Arms are locked to support more weight than if bent.

                 Side bases-Keep legs level. Foot should be securely in your hands never move back and forth.

                  Spotters-Make sure the flyer is secure and safe. Remain close and attentive just in case.

Above is a picture of a middle split stunt. This stunt is not a very common one but it does look good.

 

This stunt is called a leg stretch. You have to be very concentrated, balanced,and tight.If you are the flyer your job is to keep your eye on something to keep steady and have a great smile.

 

The stunt above is called a scorpion. That is when you take your leg back behind of you and hold it by your head.Below is a picture of an international competition stunt.

The stunt below has a pyramid holding two girls then those two girls are holding another girl.
