All over America SkateParks are opening up. Some skateparks don't allow bikes in but with the BMX industry growing, more skateparks are beginning to let them in.

Bikes that are setup for park are heavier. They are made with thicker tubing for strength. They have triple wall rims and sometimes they have front and back brakes. Vert bikes sometimes don't have brakes at all and use a 4 piece type bar instead of 2.

The tires on park or vert style bikes are very different too. The have a lot less tread or grip on the them.

The tricks in park and vert are different too. Some are the same but for the most park it's different. But it all depends on who the rider is and what they like to do. Some tricks from dirt and street can be incorperated into park tricks also.
