On this page I will tell you about the equipment that is used in a regular season baseball game.

This is a baseball bat. In the game you would use this to hit baseballs. If you don't know what a baseball is I will tell you about it later. In professional baseball you would use a wooden bat. When  in amateur baseball you would use a aluminum bat.
	On the left you will see a picture of some cleats. Cleats are very important in baseball. They help you run faster and stick to the ground better. They can be metal or rubber.
On the right you will see a picture of a baseball mitt. There are many types of baseball mitts. On the right this one is a standard mitt. It is used for outfield mostly but you can use it any where else except catcher.
	On the left you will see a catchers mitt. The catchers mitt is way different from all other mitts. It has no fingers showing unlike the standard mitts. It is all one big web.
On the right you will see a picture of a standard baseball. The baseball is to be stricken by the bat. There are many different kinds of baseballs. There are very cheap ones which are made of vinyl. While expensive ones are made of leather.
	On the left there is a picture of a baseball helmet. The baseball helmet is used to make sure you are safe when you play the game. It still hurts when you get hit but not as much.
On the right you will see a picture of a catchers helmet. The catchers helmet is unique because it has a mask on it and it can be flipped off easily for better viewing of the field.
	On the left there is a picture of a pair of baseball socks. Baseball socks are different than crew cut socks but similar to tube socks. They are very long and they come in many colors.
