Building a deck...

When building a deck you must always remember one thing.  SIZE!!  Your deck should be a reasonable size to use, shuffle, and work with in general.  Why is this you ask.  Well think, "If my deck contains 120 cards then how will I get the ONE SINGLE FRIGGIN card I need?"  One card is hard to find in a 90 card or over deck.  So that's why your deck should be 40-80 cards and maybe about 90 cards if you want to push that limit.  This is the  #1 rule for building a good deck.  Every master player knows it.
When building a good deck to kick a** you must also remember to get the cards you want to have.  in other words you need it to be based on some sort of strategy.  You never base your deck around one card.  Because if your opponent could destroy it in a second and your pretty much doomed after that.  But you could base it around a group of cards.  lets say you have a beat down deck with power house cards that can crush your opponents.  Then you should have about 5 or 10.  That's the kind of deck I use.  it seems to work pretty well.  But you should shove a lot of lands in your deck because usually if you have powerhouse creatures that can CRUSH your opponent then you need a lot of mana to get them out!!  I'd suggest put 25-30 in your deck for one type
If you include a card you depend on then it is a good idea to put as many of that card in as you can.  The good part to this is that you are more likely to get that card. there are sadly two bad parts to this as well the first one is a rule.  You may only include 4 of any specific card other than lands in a deck.  The second draw back is that if the card is really rare then you might have a hard time finding more than one of it.
