Kurt Cobain
Kurt Cobain is the guitarist and lead vocals for the hit grunge band Nirvana.
With his crazy guitar solo's and his edge cutting lyrics, he was named one of the most inspirational musicians. Kurt was born on February 20th, 1967 in Hoquaim, Washington (a small town southwest of Seattle). Kurt Cobain lived a rough life living in and out of relatives homes when his parents lives changed when they got divorced., even homeless at one point. Kurt was in many bands before Nirvana. One of his favorite bands who he was influenced by the sex pistols.
One of Kurt's things that fans worldwide knew about was that at every show, no matter how little or big, he smashed his signature model; the jag stang which is a mixture of a mustang and a jaguar. (which is now in the downtown Pittsburgh Hard Rock Cafe). Nirvana was now a multi million dollar grunge band.
In 1992 Kurt Cobain married already pregnant Courtney Love (Lead singer of the rock band Hole) on February 24, 1994 in Waikiki, Hawaii. The two met in 1989 at a Nirvana show. Kurt Cobain had one daughter - Francis Bean Cobain - who he loved very much. Francis was born on August 18, 1992.
Kurt Cobain committed suicide on April
5th, 1994 when he was 27 years old (many questions still remain unanswered).
Many Nirvana fans believe Courtney Love had something to do with his mysterious
death. The body of the rock legend
was not found until three days later on April
8th, 1994. When they found the body, he had many drugs inside of him, with a
shotgun across his chest, and a suicide note next to him. The suicide note was basically
noted to his wife and daughter telling them that he will miss them, and
that he loves them. Was it his wife? Nobody knows..
