Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates had a losing record witch means they lost more then they won. They have traded many of their players to the Chicago Cubs.  Some of the players are Jack Wilson, Jason Kendal, Pokey Reese, and Julian Tavares.

Chicago Cubs

The Chicago Cubs made it to the second round of the playoffs whear they lost to the Florida Marlins.  Some of their players are Randal Simon, Sammy Sosa, Moses Alou, Kenney Loften, Aromas Ramirez, Kerry Wood, and Mark Prior.

Florida Marlins

This year the Marlins won the World Series.  They beat the Chicago Cubs and the New York Yankees and more to become the champions.  This year they had many rookies on their and some older people as well.

New York Yankees

This year the New York Yankees came in second place to win the World Series to the Florida Marlins.  Some of their players are Jason Giambie, Derek Jetter, and Rodger Clemons,

Oakland Athletics

This year the Oakland Athletics made it to the first round in the playoffs.  They lost to the Boston Red Sox.  They are in the American League.

Boston Red Sox

The  Boston Red Sox made it to the second round in the playoffs in 2003.  They lost in the second round to the New York Yankees.  They have a curse on them since Babe Ruth left, it is called the curse of the Bambino.  This curse is that they haven't won a World Series since he has left the team to join the New York Yankees.

Anaheim Angles

In the year 2002 the Angles won the World Series.  It was a very big game for them, because they aren't the best team so people thought.  They are in the American League.       

Atlanta Braves

This year the Atlanta Braves lost in the first round in the playoffs.  They lost to the Chicago Cubs.  Greg Maddox, a pitcher for them won over 15 games that he had pitched in the regular season for 15 years.  Also a former Pittsburgh Pirate's brother, Markus Giles is the second basemen.
