| I have been to two race tracks.They are Mercer PA, Sharon Pa. They are alot of fun to go to.Loud and dirty! The shape of the tracks can be oval or round. A race usually includes more than 10 cars. The scoreboard tells you where they are for example first , second, and third place. It also shows how many laps remaine. | The waving of a green flag begins the race .When a car wrecks a yellow flag comes out. This tells the drivers to slow down. The red one is for bad weather or a very bad crash. The checker flag is used at the end of the race to mark the winner. |
| A pace car is the lead car used for the pace lap and the parade lap. | A spoiler is a long, narrow plate that creates traction and makes the car slow down. |
