EPCOT is Disney Worlds second theme park and was opened in 1979. EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype City Of Tomorrow. EPCOT was connected with the magic Kingdom by a monorail system that travels between the two parks. EPCOT covers a total of 207 acres and is over twice the size of the Magic Kingdom. Epcot has two areas, which are, The Future World, and The World Showcase. In the Future World, you can experience the past and future technology advancements. In the World Showcase, you can experience countries that surround the World Showcase Lagoon. |
