At the 2001 American Team Cup, Carly was first in the all-around and on beam, and a member of the first place team.  At the 2002 Brazilian International Gymnastics Tournament, Carly was the Beam and All-Around Champion, and the Vault and Floor Silver medalist.  At the 2002 Pacific Alliance, she was the Vault, Bars, and Beam Champion, and came in second in the All-Around.  It is hard enough to earn a medal at a meet, but Carly took first place in every event, including the All-Around at the 2002 Junior National Podium Meet.  At the 2002 American Classic, she was the Vault and Floor Champion, and second in the All-Around.
