The oldest roller coaster in Kennywood is the "Jack Rabbit". It was built in 1921. It was designed by John A. Miller and built by Charlie Mack and Kennywood. It has a 70-foot high vertical spread and it's 2,132 feet long. It cost 50,000$ and has a 70-foot double dip. The trains are made up of three seat cars with a capacity of eighteen.

        

The next coaster is called the "Racer". It was built in 1927 by Charlie Mack, Andrew Brown, and Kennywood. It is 72 feet and six inches high. This twin track racing coaster is 2,250 feet long. It was originally built 1910, but it was demolished and a totally new coaster design was built in 1927. It cost more than 75,000$.

                  

In 1968 the "Thunderbolt" was built by Andy Vettel. It was also built by Andy Vettel. It is 95 feet high and 3250 feet long. It reaches speeds of 53 miles per hour and has a maximum drop of 95 feet. It is well known for the 90 foot final drop.

The next coaster is called the "Exterminator". It is 50 feet high and 1378 feet long. It is so unique you have to ride it to believe it. It's basically a roller coaster in the dark. It was designed and built in 1999 by Reverchon Industries in France.

       

The most recent coaster built is the "Phantom's Revenge". It was built in 2001 by Morgan Manufacturing and Kennywood. This coaster replaces the "Steel Phantom". It goes up to 85 miles per hour. It has a 232 foot drop. New thrills like the drop under the Thunderbolt replaces the loops and corkscrews of the Steel Phantom.
