Now you will be reading about coat colors.  Just like breeds there are many different kinds of coat colors.  The ones on this page are the most commonly seen. 

This color is gray.  Gray is black skin with white and black hair.  This will lighten with age.

Here we have the color flea-bitten.  Flea-bitten is a gray coat with brown specks of hair.

This is the color Palomino.  Palomino is a gold coat with a white mane and tail.

This color is Bay.  Bay is a red-brown with a black mane, tail, and legs. 

This is Chestnut.  Chestnut is simply shades of gold.  You can also find red chestnut and liver dark chestnut.

Here we have the color brown. Brown is a mix of black and brown coat, mane, and tail. You can also find the color bay brown.

This color is Skewbald.  Skewbald is patches of white, or any other color but black, on top of a basic, solid color.

This is Blue-Roan.  Blue-Roan is a black or brown body with white, giving off a bluish ting.

This is the color Dapple-Gray.  Dapple-gray is dark rings of hair on a gray coat.

Here we have the color black.  Black is black pigment in the mane, legs, coat and tail.  Occasionally you will find white marks on the coat.

This color is called Yellow-dun.. Yellow-dun is yellow hair on black skin.  There is also Blue-dun which is gray or black hair.
