There are many different types of snowboarding tricks. I am just going to tell you about a four of them, the backside 180, The cab 540, the backside 360 and the McTwist
THE BACKSIDE 180
The backside 180 is performed by Damo Liddy. the level of difficultyis a 3 - 10
As you approach be sure to keep your body low, bend at the knees not at the waist.
While taking off start out you would a normal straight jump: keep your knees bend. When you reach the jump spring of the top by extending your legs. Keep your arms extended at the waist for balance. Make sure the tip of your board is up

3. As soon as you take off start thinking about rotating your body below the waist. Make sure taht your upper body is rotating slower than your lower body.

4. Once you have left the jump try to stay relaxed and concentrate on rotating your board 180 degrees. let the board drift around the 180 degrees. if you try to jerk it then it would work.
5. Try to look at he nose of the board though the whole trick
6. While landing, you have to ride "switched", with is when you ride the opposite way that you are supposed to.

THE McTWIST
The McTwist was invented by skateboarder Mike McGrill in the 1980s, it didn't take long for this trick to be adapted by snowboarders on the half pipe. The rider tat can do this trick the best is Terje Haakonsen, with Trevor Andrew coming close.
1.) Approach your backside wall in a crouched position, while pointing your shoulders slightly forward. This way you can gain maximum rotation when you leave the lip.

2.) As you take off, push your front arm down by your toe edge, at the same time turn your head towards the tail of your board. Roll your body forward as you push your body off of the lip with your legs.

3.)As soon as you leave the lip you should be rotating forward into a front flip type position while you are spinning 540 degrees.
4.) While landing be sure to land high in the lip so that you can maintain your speed for the next trick
BACKSIDE 360
This trick is performed by Bear Agushi. The level of difficultly is a 2 - 10
1.)Keep very low on the appoach with your knees bent and your board base flat on the deck, try not to ride your board on the edge

2.) As you near the lip begin turning off your toe edge
3.) Rotate your upper body backwards begining with your head, this will allow you to get the full amount of rotaion for the full 360 degrees
4.) Always keep your head facing the direction taht you want to spin . your knees should still be in the crouched position.
5.) Keep your wieght centered. stomp the landing on a flat base so you dont overspin once you have touched down
CAB 540
Chris Coulter performs thi strick. the Cab 540's level of difficulty is a 8-10
1.)Set yourself up to ride into the jumo switched and then start your run in

2.)Keep low on your approach and keep your knees bent
3.)Approach the lip with the base of your board flat
4.) As you hit the lip begin to spring off the edge of your board
5.) DON'T ollie off the tail or else you will propable flip backwards and hit your neck!
6.)Look with your head in the direction taht you want to turn then give a big spring with your legs.
8.) Keep your weight centered while you are landing
ADDING THE GRAB

1.) You can do any grab you want with this trick

2.)Regardless of which grab your doing, suck your knees up to your chest and NEVER bend forward or else you will miss the grab and loose balance.
