In the year of 1933 Art Rooney purchased an NFL Franchise for 2,500 dollars. The Steelers had developed more and more each year. Then, through the 1970's, the Steelers bought dynasty that brought 4 Super bowl championships.
Still, the Pittsburgh Steelers have a very good football team. They have Tommy Maddox at QB, Amos Zeroue and Jerome Bettis at RB, and Hines Ward and Plaxico Burris at WR. The Steelers have a good chance at winning the Super bowl over the next few years (the one for the thumb).
