The U.S. team has never won a world cup but has made it to the quater-finals.	The world cup is the epiphany of all soccer tournaments.  It has been held every 4 years since 1930.
Their soccer program is still young and is showing major improvement.
	Uruguay won the the first world cup.  They defeated Argentina 4-2,  and celebrated their triumph.  The first world cup had only 13 teams.  After the success of the first cup the teams grew and grew.  Now their are countless teams competing.		The Italian team has been one of the more successful teams during the history of the cup.
		In the above picture this team has lost.  Winning the world cup can bring you much fame in your country.  Losing, can mean your death.
