Stunts are fun,
cool-looking, and yet challenging. Even though stunts are fun you still
have to be careful and serious while doing them or you could be seriously
injured. A popular stunt that many cheerleaders do is called an
"Elevator". An elevator consists of two bases a spotter and a
flyer. The picture to the right is called a "Thigh Stand".
|
| Another stunt there is to do is called an "Elevation". An elevation is the same as an elevator yet when you put the flyer in the air you straighten forearm and extend the flyer into the air approximately two more feet in the air. Such as the picture to the left. | |

Cheerleaders also have very small stunts that individual people can do by themselves. Some are the "Towtouch", the "Hurkie", and the "Herdie". These stunts are very difficult to do because you have to have alot of leg muscles to do them. But once you get them they are very easy to do. |
