Trail riding can be fun, but it can also be very dangerous. It's always smart to go riding with another person, whether they are riding or not. If you get hurt or your horse gets hurt, it wouldn't be very good.

To go trail riding, it's a good idea to take supplies. You know, your grooming tools, food, and water.  These could come in handy if your horse rolls in the mud or gets something in his hoof (that's why you would take a pick). You should take food  and water in case you get hungry or trapped or anything.
Okay, so some of you may be wondering trail riding actually is. It's pretty self-explanatory. Trail riding is following a trail (whether it be in the woods, in the desert, whatever), on horseback. See? I told you it was self-explanatory.

There are some conditions you should follow in order to go trail riding. You shouldn't go trail riding if it has rained in the past twenty- four (24) hours. You also shouldn't go if the ground is moist or saturated because your horse could always lose a shoe and then they could get an infection and that wouldn't be very good now would it?
