joystick Atari is one of the oldest video game systems it originally started out as arcade style game big and bulky and was for  bars and arcades. Well when it became very popular the people at Atari worked hard and finally turned it into a home television system. The old Atari games were made based on a grid system and were only one dimensional it sounds bad but for that day and age it was quite an advancement and selling many millions of home versions not nation wide but world wide and made millions of dollars
Nintendo no not Super Nintendo and not N64 but just plain old Nintendo it came out in 1???  and had a slot in the front  where you put the game in almost backwards. It had many more games than the Atari and although it was more state of the art it was still only one dimensional but much better. It sold many millions of copies and also many millions of games and even made there name big enough to stay around to create many more systems and are still here today in the year ???? Nintendo Entertainment System
Super Nintendo Entertainment System Super Nintendo was the next version of Nintendo and was the first ever 2 dimensional game, it had games that were inserted in the top of the system. It was also the first system to have a power switch and a reset button so you didn't have to turn it off and back on if it started to mess up. It like Nintendo was a big hit and kept the business in business and here to make even more versions of systems and earning more places in the History of the Games page than any other company.
N64 or Nintendo 64 it was Nintendo's 3rd system and one that a lot of people found confusing because it was another first for systems because it was the first one to have a joy stick on the controller and the first to have a more detailed game set-up and was the first system to come multi-colored Nintendo 64
The next system to come out on the market was PlayStation. It was the first system out by Sony. It was a revolution in the game industry, it was the first game system to come out with the games on disks. The graphics of the system were ten times better than any system before it. Unlike the Nintendo 64 it did not come multi-colored but only came in gray.
Once again another Sony product came out on the market called Play station 2 not a very original name but hey whatever. Sony's Play station 2 has the best graphics of any system yet and is almost on the verge of three dimensional game play. although Sony is still yet to come out with multi-colored systems the black look is a good look this system came out in
This next one is a first it came from Bill Gates company Microsoft it's called Xbox it's actually not a bad system it's graphics and game play equal the amazing Play station 2. It has problems with some things though. Like the fact that the controller is three times the size of the average system controller and the system its-self is not that small all around its a space consuming system and not easy to play with massive controllers
Last but not least another system by Nintendo it's Nintendo's Nintendo Game Cube it's another multi-colored system that uses mini disks and is a real space saver it has great game play and graphics just as great as PS2 and Xbox its my personal favorite of the latest three systems to hit the market Nintendo GameCube
