| 1.MIAMI | Miami has been the best team for many years . Going to the national championship two years in a row, and winning once. They have their four safetys returning as seniors , and will have the best pass coverage in the country. Their line is also excellent and that is why they have the best defense this year. |

| 2.Oklahoma | Oklahoma Sooners have a very good team this year being ranked number 1 in the nation in many polls. They are undefeated, and without a great defense you can not be undefeated. They have great safetys and lineman. | |
