Arnold first got involved in politics in the year 1990. During that time he was president George W. Bush's personal fitness czar. Arnold claimed that he has always enjoyed politics and has wanted to get involved in them.

When Arnold saw that there was going to be an opening in the running for governor of California, e jumped right on it. He didn't like the way California was being run and wanted to change that. So he decided to shift has former movie star career into a more serious role, politics. He wanted to make Califrrnia a better place. He said he enjoyed politics and wanted to improve California to his fullist.
