Siamese cats were brought to the United Kingdom from Thailand in 1884.  They were royal and guarded palaces.
These kittens are born white, but by the time they are one year old, their colors change.

The Siamese is the most popular short-haired cat.  The fur on their bodies is pale brown or white and their legs, tails, ears, and noses are chocolate brown.

Siamese have deep blue, almond-shaped eyes. They can have a round, apple-shaped head, or a longer, wedge-shaped head.
This breed of cat is very friendly and intelligent.  They have loud voices and meow a lot.

The Siamese need very little grooming.  All they need is a quick brushing once a week.  Petting them a lot helps get rid of loose, dead hairs.
Siamese cats can have short or medium length fur.  They have long legs, tails, and necks, and large ears.
