Mike Portney is a very good drummer. Mike was born on April 20, 1969, in Long Island, New York. Mike taught himself how to play the drums. He took some Music Theory classes in High School. He played in many local bands such as Intruder, Rising Power, and Inner Sanctum. He attended Berklee Music College in Boston. Mike was greatly influenced by Neil Pert and Frank Zappa. |
Rashied Ali

Rashied is a progenitor and leading exponent of multidirectional rhythms. He established his own style known as "free jazz." A Philadelphia native, Ali began his career in the U.S. Army. He started gigs when he got back from his service. In the early 60's the Big Apple beckoned, and soon Ali was a fixture of the avant-garde jazz scene. Ali has been busy gigging with a virtual Who's Who in jazz. |

Ringo Star

Ringo Star is the drummer for the Beatles. In the 60's Ringo was a powerful stage drummer and continued to get better. Ringo himself has often stated that he is not a technician, he was unquestionably an innovator and a distinct influence on many young drummers. |
Abe Laboriel Jr.

Abe has toared with many different artists. He never takes vacation because he says he never needs one. He has never ending enthusiasm and excitement. He is currently touring with Paul Mcartney, the former Beatle. Abe grew up with music and has developed a respect and love for music. Abe began playing at the age of 4. At the age of 10, he began taking lessons. He also enrolled at the Berklee College of Music. |

Rick Allen

Rick Allen is the drummer for the band Def Leopard. He played the drums all of his life. He he was continuing his dream until he was in a car crash and lost his left arm. Amazingly he got back to playing using his right arm and the drumset made by Simmons. With such dedication and determination Rick is back playing with Def Leopard. He still looks forward to performing and always will. |
Robbie Ameen

Robbie has always loved music. He now has all kinds of percussion equipment in his house. He has a set of vibes, a frame drum, a gamelean gong, a bell wheel, cowbells, woodblocks, panpipes, congas, doumbeks, batas, Indonesian drums, a Brazilian repinique, bongos, guiros, shekeres, turtle shells and many many more. Robbie has grown a great passion for what he does. |
