The nose is black with broad nostrils. The eyes are dark brown or hazel and are large and round. The expression should be alert and appealing. |

The muzzle is squarish and narrow with well spaced teeth. |

The beagles temperment is good natured, active, happy dogs, but can be willful and need firm handling. |
