Los Angeles, the largest city in California, also known as the city of angels.  For some its where the American dream of fame was first made and to others its just a land of  glitz, glamour and excessive.  Away from all Hollywood's excitement and stars, downtown Los Angeles has an industrious side as well.  In the actual city of Los Angeles there are corporate businesses, companies, and studios, its the entertainment capital of the US.
Los Angeles gained its reputation from this area in Northwest LA which is non other than Hollywood, the movie Mecca.  In the heart of Hollywood and Vine you will find places like Mann Graumann's Chinese Theater.  This is where some stares go to see movie premiers.
	Right outside the theater is the Star walk of Fame, where many Hollywood legends receive a "star" with their name that makes up the sidewalk in front of the theater.  Not only do great actors receive stars but radio, TV, stage performers, directors, singers, songwriters, and other entertainers as well.  The walk began in 1960 with 2,500 blank stars and 2,130 of them are filled today.  Each new stars are added to the walk.  Also outside of the Chinese Theater you'll find the stars name as well as hand and foot prints in their own square of cement.
Each year millions of tourist visit the theaters to see if there hand fits in 1 of the 123 prints such as Marilyn Monroe.  As you travel through Hollywood you would also see the Roosevelt Hotel where the first Academy awards were held.  You would also find the Hollywood wax museum, famous stars or characters recreated out of wax.
	Disneyland is another famous attraction in L.A.  This was the first park created by Walt Disney.  This amusement park  is referred to as the "the happiest place on Earth" and is located in Anaheim.  Disneyland is where the founder Walt Disney brought his movies and characters to life.  The park is split into 4 different lands Adventurland, Frontierland, Fanastyland, and Tomorrowland.  All together the park has about 68 rides and shows.
Los Angeles is known for its many beautiful beaches, three of the most popular are Malibu, Santa Monica, and Venice Beach.  Malibu is located in Southern  California its beach are backed by the Santa Monica Mountains.  Malibu beach has a lot to live up to as the site of Baywatch Beach, Blanket Bingo and many appearance by the Beach Boys
